I just got in two CDs by Geggy Tah that I ordered off of Amazon.com. I was first introduced to this group by an MP3 posted in Big Big Truck's journal, and I don't think they have a song that I don't like. I am bad at genre identification, but I would call them a combination of smooth jazz and R/B with a little hip-hop, experimental, and punk thrown into the mix. Go give them a shot, you may like them. Then go buy their CDs, I got them used, good condition, and dirt cheap on Amazon.
Go here to download some sample MP3's. My two favorites on this page are Alien's Somewhere and Lotta Stuff.

Let me guess. It was Whoever You Are that was used in the commercial? I ask because (1) it's pretty obvious, and (2) the song has always sounded vaguely familiar to me, and that would be a good reason why.
All I want to do is to thank you,
Even though I don't know who you are.
You let me change lanes,
While I was driving in my car.
Car commercial.
