I miss the early 2000s

I got a nostalgia burst and decided to visit here on a whim. Since I haven't made an AMV in over 15 years I doubt anyone remembers me, but if you were here back in the day: Hi, I hope you're doing well

Fwiw I remember your weird glitchy Cowboy Bebop horror video (Mass Murderer). It was actually at least a minor influence in developing my own AMV tastes!

I don't miss all the garbage we were doing to make AMVs with DVD sources and messing with 24fps (the horror).

A really basic video setup with a Blu Ray source is about a million times easier these days (I'm sure there's plenty of optional pre/post processing to consider too).

I have definitely missed the community from the 2000s era and editing in general. I guess I'll get back into things and see how long it lasts.

That's so cool to hear. I was actually never fully satisfied with that video and in retrospect it didn't live up to the one I made before but I'm glad it at least had some traction
