I was watching one of our music channels tonight, Soundscapes, and a band, or person, came on called Shinji. It was pretty cool if you like New Age music, which I do. The song was called "The Guardian Angel" and the album was Journey to the Heart II. Anyone else know anything about them? And if it does have any relation to Evangelion or is that just odd coincidence?

I think it's coincidence. I did a Yahoo! search with "Evangelion journey to the heart", and nothing that linked them came up.

Blah. Well it was pretty cool to see it. And Shinji is a Japanese band...

Ah well, I'll screw that whole coincidence thingy then. They're still pretty cool.
