As a black person It'd be simple for me to pull out the "racist" card but I won't, cause if you notice people seem to approve AMVS with music from eminem even though that shit can be random or actually have a meaning.

Like a friend of mine said, AMVS are self expression, edit however or whatever the fuck you want.

I myself and a Rap/Hiphop editor(Occasionaly do RnB and even rock).

I think it might be the song choice if the song has meaning, people will approve it.(Like Until the end of time by Tupac or Misunderstood by Common). When you use a mainstream pop song thats always on the radio, people will usually not approve.(but yet Lupe Fiasco made a song "Go Baby" which wasn't always on the radio but its was pretty much pop. He saw the song and evne put the shit on his myspace)

I dunno I think its quite stupid, everyone is different and has their own tastes in anime and music, people should just learn to deal with it. You don't see me telling people with screamo AMVS that it makes my ears bleed or anythin mean like that.

In my opinion rap music is much harder to edit to it in a good way. Maybe some people just go the easy way. I already saw great rap amvs with awesome flow like the vocals in the song. They´re good, but rare. :|
