The best thing about the movie was the point of view. You're viewing the events through the eyes of the survivors, who in turn interact with the scene around them. This effect pulls the viewer in, and includes them in the scene as if they were there.
I kept thinking that this was a lot like Half-Life, in which you're seeing everything go down through the eyes of a survivor in the midst of a maelstrom of bad things.
In any case, I liked the movie. It keeps you in suspense and the unique approach is well executed.
