Hi All,
Firstly, I want to thank everyone for making this one of the BEST contest Anime Evolution has had! Not only that but the AMV Contest was the BIGGEST event at Anime Evolution and the attendance size beat out Cosplay!!! Wow, we did really need a bigger screen! Even got a picture (the main events room was in a large gym) - It was darker, but I lightened the picture so you can see how full it really was. The room could hold just under 3000, and considering the con had just over 5000 attendance, we had a LOT of the con's population there!):

And now for the results! A lot of great videos and diverse amount of winners! The AMV Coordinators Award has the creator present and she was so happy that I though she would hit the roof with excitement! (that alone makes it all worth it
) But a very disserving win to an awesome video just like all the other winners.
ALSO, a great turnout for the 5 hours of playing all the accepted entries on Sunday and the AMV room was packed to maximum capacity (about 400) for when we showed all the winners!

Jubjub's Stupid Couple winning romance makes me happy \o/ Overall, looks like a lot of awesome entries for that lucky stadium AMV-watching crowd! I am jealous, I wish I could go to a con with an AMV room like that.

It was a great contest, the standard of entries was very high, and the audience were not afraid to show their appreciation! The crowd for the contest winners announcement were even rowdier. The atmosphere was amazing.
The winner of the audience award (Cyrus Virus) was announced and played last, but after that the crowd demanded that Vlad play The Clap.
So Ileia gave everyone two diseases this weekend.

I'm unemployed.
I can make the AMVs, but I can't afford to go to the cons to see the reactions. </3 orz

I was wondering that myself, and starting to feel even more like a lazy-ass editing slacker than I already do. Even if she's unemployed, she's still far more productive that me. Proof? I'm posting this from work.Scintilla wrote:Good LORD, Ileia, how do you find the time to make all of these?!

Congrats on your win.
