Last year, the coordinator used his own money to make a professional DVD with all the AMVs that played from 2006. He said this year he was gonna send out the 2007-2008 ones.

But I can understand if there's no DVD...economy as bad as it is. ^_^ Good luck with everything. The hand drawn cells are more than enough...and pretty to look at on the wall. XD

Just a FYI, I will not be running the AMV Contest this year.
It's been fun, MANY thanks to everybody who supported the contest.

Thankyou for all you have done.
Was a replacement selected?
I know I was shot down for everything I volunteered for (ie no response in 2 months).
Can we expect to see you back in competition?

anyway, "happy trails to you..."

I was saddened to leave. My leaving Banzai is best described as Irreconcilable Differences in a business sense.

Yes, you might say my 2nd in command is running it this year.

Its hard to volunteer for this event and be a participant at the same time. Many would not look favorably at this, its not a matter of just shooting people down its a bit more political that that. If you where happy with not participating I would of gladly accepted you help. As for the 2 months, well... a combination of drama with Banzai staff and sickness contributed to that.

I haven't worked seriously on a AMV in about 8 years. I've been thinking about it......
