I know a few of you are holding out for a last minute finish, and a few were waiting to see the Otakon results to make up their mind. No more excuses, get those entries registered. http://www.awa-vat.org
If you can't remember your login/pass, email me at vattechnical@gmail.com. Please don't create a redundant login if you can't remember, it just clutters up the whole system and for the love of all that's holy, leave me a legitimate email address. It completely defeats the purpose if I can't get your ftp accounts back out to you!
Also please remember the bits that distinguish Pro from the other contests:
-No bumpers containing editor/studio information (or if you do include a 'clean' version or make it easily chopable).
-If you have a preferred still to use for the dvd menu, please include it. Otherwise I'll try and pick one.
-Signed entry forms, either mailed (if you are sending us physical media to burn and return your discs, or for those that just prefer that method) or digitized and included with your video and/or emailed. Yea, the entry form is a bit redundant with the database, but we need your approval (or your guardian's) to receive the dvd content.
For anyone that hasn't mailed in media yet and is in North America, look into the USPS flat rate boxes. They can sell you the box collapsed down, and I think one of the smaller ones is the perfect size for dvds. The other option is to get two of the flat rate envelope mailers. Put your dvds in a bubblewrap sleeve, put it and the return envelope folded over into the first and you're good to go. If you want to cheap out and go first class instead, take whatever's going to make the return trip down to the post office, get it weighed, and get a prepaid mailer sticker applied to the bubble sleeve. Pre-printed labels also save us both the embarrassment of me having to go home and look up your address in the site database because the post office refused to accept your package because they couldn't read the zipcode in your handwriting. True story, 2-3 every year.
