Anime Milwaukee 2009 AMV Contest

Post by Kariudo » Sun Dec 14, 2008 6:18 pm

The AMKE AMV Contest is now accepting submissions.
The deadline for submissions is Feb 6, 2009
The contest is being held on Friday, Feb 27...not sure about the time or room yet
(I should probably get on that, seeing as I'm the one deciding where and when everything is this year :awesome: )

Updated the rules (I think I made them shorter...I think)
Updated the submission form
no ftp this year, please use a temporary storage site like sendspace.

Well it's been a few weeks now.
I've gotten more interest this year (compared to this time last year) and someone sent me an amv, so we're off to a better start.

The amv contest is looking like it'l be held from 8pm to 10pm on Friday, February 27 in the Ballroom East (there are a few maps floating around on the con site...somewhere)

happy new year |:>
now send me some more AMVs :amv:

More amvs have come in, but I still need more before my :awesome: reaches over 8000

Deadline is coming up in about 3 weeks

oh, and did I mention that entering in this contest will end the current economic crisis?*
*ok, it won't really do that, but it's fun to say stuff.
...Don't look at me like that!
You'd do the same thing too

This year, we're pushing for online submission (using temporary storage sites). [most] people should be able to use a site like sendspace (which has a 300MB upload limit)
Uploading to sendspace is pretty simple (browse for the file, click a box, then click upload)

Then you just copy/paste the download link into the submission form
