Hey guys, it was an awesome weekend and though the convention itself suffered from various hiccups, the AMV shows worked out just fine. This year's competition was presented by Amvience Studios! And so, here are the results you've been waiting for.

And of course the 24 hour showdown in the Iron Chef AMV competition once more put our editors to the brink of insanity. After an extended Q&A session with the audience and the contestants, the judges in the end came to conclusion that the winner is:

Autraya

Which was followed ever so closely by EvilTom's video which was an obvious rickroll... >.>

Honorable mention also goes to BlueTrain after spending every single minute editing using Koop's Euphoria song and which seem to have been the biggest point of argument among the judges. And props to him for driving back home without killing pedestrians!

Anyway, that's all for me now... This year was as fantastic as always and I really want to thank everyone out there for participating as well as watching and voting! I'm not sure how likely I will be Manifest's AMV coordinator again, but regardless I hope to see your videos again next year!

Something I will never live down, a girly "fluffy" (and not all that funny) video T_T some nasty nasty man gave us all comedic audio (except BT who got the song from euphoria). I really edited my ass off to make something completely outside my normal err "style".
I barely remember what I said to everyone I was getting (and still am) so sick with another bout of the flu so sorry if it didn't make sense x_x what I was trying to get across was this "Everyone put so much time and effort into their vids you could tell we were all pretty exhausted after the 24 hours. I think everyone did a fantastic job under a lot of pressure, esp when we got hit with that last minute music change" and in my personal opinion I doubt many in the audience apreciated just how much work we all put into it. I heard a number of nasty comments from people about various videos as I was leaving and that's a pretty poor attitude from the crowd considering what every one went through to get there and compete.
The judges were comming from a very different perspective to the crowd (who were roaring in laughter at evil tom's video, as was I when I first saw it) and I feel bad for even bothering to mention this, it shouldn't bug me but still...*sighs*
Anyway, here's the fluff:

The song makes me wanna puke :s. But idea is great and execution is very good for the IC amv. The first few second tricked me to believe it will be some serious and overdramatic stuff till I found out what happened with other pilots

I want see others videos :3.

Hmm, I only can image how exhaused You and other editors were after almost a whole day of editing. Its sad audience couldnt appreciate everyones effort. Well, best is just not to care about it. ;x
