If you entered a video for any of our contests through our new website, I would like to thank you. In many regards, it eliminates or reduces much of our workload for maintaining such a large set of contests. But it also tends to create just as many other headaches...
During your registration process, you might have noticed that there was no way to indicate your studio/attribution name. The system defaulted to using your FirstNameLastName concatenation. Many of you were astute enough to notice that this was later editable in the user profile. Many more of you however failed to notice this field.
This studio name is what we will be using shortly to name all of the files internally as we prepare the con-playable versions of the files, and when we make the Expo list publically viewable in a few weeks. If you could please take a second of time to log in and verify that this field is showing up the way you want the public to see it. It is VERY IMPORTANT that you address this shortly, as we will probably lock out any changes in a week or two to protect our sorting system from any unintentional confusion.
This is also a good time to check your video titles, as well as video and audio sources, for any typos. You can contact myself or the emails listed on the site for these corrections.
Thanks!
