Here's an idea. Since you want a laptop so bad, go buy one yourself, and donate it to the video staff for the convention.

So why are you complaining then? If you've done that already, and they decided against it, then that's their choice, regardless of whether you liked it or not.

Dude, shut the fuck up already. The con is over with, done, finished. Nothing you can say here will change the minds of the AMV coordinator(s) and video staff. They don't want to use a laptop, they don't have to use a laptop. I don't like laptops either (I prefer a good ol' DVD) and I am a coordinator for our own convention down in Florida...
