Sakura-Con 2006 Deadline EXTENDED

Well We are coming up on the Deadline for submission to the Convention
As Sakura-Con is in March this year insetad of April, I had to set an earlier cut off date of January 31.

there may be a chance of a 2-4 week extension though

so if you wish to enter the submission site (complete with rules etc) is located here

Eeep... I'm running short on time it seems... My plan was to finish just after New Years but this video is taking longer than anticipated...

I am trying to get 1 running
work has conflicted with talking to people who can help

the main problem is that as I am still living at my mom's until January she (who owns the internet connection) will not allow me to set up the FTP and changed the Password on the router so I cant just set 1 up like I did last year

I am really sorry, but I am gonna hopefully try and arrange for 1 this next week

if worse comes to worse I can start taking AIM transfers and such

How likely are you going to be able to download from other people's servers or YouSendIt?

I cleared the data from last year so that I could have a clean tracking record and yes if you get me links I will DL videos from anywhere I can

Hi guys. =) Sorry if I come here in the most complete ignorance of what is happening, since I'm quite new to any type of contest, but I wouldreally like if possible to submit into this con the latest video I ended this week. I would like, if I can, to do some questions

- It isn't a con where I have to be there phsysically, true? :O
- You're been talking about FTPs, will I have if I'm accepted to upload the video there? (The video can't be hosted on a-m-v.org)
- Can I be accepted into this contest?

Sorry if I seem a horrible noob, but I'm new to this type of things, and I would like to make clear some doubts I have. Sorry for any trouble.

Nope, part of the budge does include mailing for those who are unable to attend, as well as if you know someone attending you can have them proxy, then they can pick up any award you won and handle getting it to you

As I cannot run a FTP currently I am more than willing to download the video wherever it may be hosted at, all I need is the link to where I can get the video from

of course, anyone is elligible to enter the contest, I ust ask that entrants register on the site I listed in my orriginal post as that is used for organising the videos as well as my records of who sent what and if they win, where prizes may need to be mailed to
