Also for the first time ever, Manifest played host to the highly successful version of an Iron Chef AMV competition. Typically these sort of competitions are done in the con itself and run for about 2 hours. Our version comprised of overnight editing, with the ingredients being revealed on Saturday and the videos shown and judged on Sunday, and we don't just have 2 contestants.

Finally, we have the Manifest Choice Award, which was the award decided by the Manifest Committee as being a video deserving praise amidst all the stiff competition.

Special Mention goes to the following videos for coming very close at becoming the Manifest Choice AMV:

Once again, thank you for making the Manifest 2005 Anime Music Video scene such a huge success and I congratulate everyone who won and participated. Hope to see you all again next year.
Oh and yeah... I'll just have to say this... Reflections of Style 2 was damn awesome... everybody loved it here...

Congrats to all of the winners! When I found out from Vlad over AWA that he had also sent his Pro video in to Manifest, I figured that you guys would have one heck of a contest, and it looks like you did. I'm glad you're getting lots of good videos! Hopefully I'll be able to be there and see for myself next year.

Re: Manifest AMV Competition Results
Glad to hear it! It got a great reaction at AWA as well. Heh, was cool to have a "simultaneous" premiere.Infinity Squared wrote:Oh and yeah... I'll just have to say this... Reflections of Style 2 was damn awesome... everybody loved it here...

Thanks AtomX for letting us have our hands on it. Yeah it was pretty cool having a simultaneous premiere. It was actually like a real worldwide cinema general release thing
I forgot to mention this, but the winners should be expecting in the mail soon their prizes. This involves the lovely medals and anime goodies that we promised.
Congrats again to the winners.

Ah... Nesse... were you the one pulling the strings for that or was it Lock?
Hehe... it might be awesome if Manifest were to happen at the same weekend as AWA again next year and we snag another beauty like this...
Question now is, when will it be released on the org? Many people are hounding me for a copy and I can't exactly give them that huge as file I got.
