Neko Studios presents... 1st Contest

This is the first contest my studio is holding! From what i can tell its a little different than most contests.

Some quick key points...

1. There are six catagories-
Drama/ Romance
Action
Comedy/ Fun
Instrumental
Serious/ Sentimental
Character Profile

2. You can enter up to six videos into the contest, one in each catagory. This may give you better odds of winning! Makes it a little fair for people that may not make the best AMVs yet.

3. Everyone is involved in the judging, ive created a system that i hope wil be very sucessful... allowing everyone to vote, even people not in the contest! The only thing is you cant vote for your own videos.

4. Some of the prizes will include, but not limited to...
-All winners will get a link to there video in this forum as well as in my website. I plan on creating a Contest section on my website, that will help get publicity for your video. I will also mention your video on a-m-v.org!

-All winners will get a banner created for them. I know I'm not the best artist, but its something!

-I may also throw in a background or screenshot of some sort as well, depending on how good I think I am at paint!

-All winners will also get detailed Ops for your videos on a-m-v.org, from all the MODs. Which should also help get some publicity on your video.

-The grand prizewinner will get a DVD sent to him/her, of all the videos that won… and depending on how many videos we get, possibly all the videos entered as well.

Well, i havent set one yet... cause i want to make sure i get enough videos!!
But once it starts to get closer to having full catagories, im going to set one. I hope to be able to close the contest this weekend.

We do still need more entries... I want at least 3, but would rather have five, in each catagory! We still need...

2 more Drama/ Romance- to be at 5
3 more Action- to be at 5
4 more Comedy/ Fun- to be at 5
4 more Instrumental- to be at 5
3 more Serious/ Sentimental- to be at 5
2 more Character Profile- to be at 5

Thats allowed! You can enter up to six videos, one fore each catagory. Im sure that he wont win in all of them, but it gives him hope!? There are a couple of people that have several videos entered. I have three entered, though i dont expect any of mine to win!! LOL

Yeah just a little bit, but I figure its just a fun small contest. Plus it isn't often that you get to enter that many videos. For Otakon this year I'm making a video that willn't debute until after the deadline and I'll probably put it up late in May.
