AWA Expo deadline......August 29th!

Just a quick update to all of you playing along at home! The deadlines for the Pro and Master's contests have already passed, but you've still got more than enough time to get in on AWA's no-holds-barred royal rumble of Anime Music Videos, the Exposition Contest!

As with the other contests, there's no limit on subject matter or theme, but unlike the others, this contest affords you the opportunity to enter as many videos as you like! Your limit on submissions? A TWO HOUR TAPE! The only videos that can't be entered in the Expo contest are those that have been previously submitted to AWA in other contests in that or previous years.

A lot of people take advantage of the Expo contest to try out something new and different, a new style or an experimental effect or odd subject matter. On the other hand, we also get a lot of the experienced makers entering videos that they made for their own amusement, inside jokes, or simple projects that they always liked. If you're new to the hobby, or been around the block a couple times, come on in and join the party. We always get a wonderfully varied set of videos, musical parodies, trailers, etc., covering every genre of music and anime and even making up some new genres along the way.

Of course, allowing people to submit this many videos means that not all of them will be shown, but we'll move heaven and earth to make sure that every person who enters will get at least one of their videos shown, and as many more as we've got room for.

Remember, the deadline is August 29th!

same here. I'm sending in my latest creation and somewhat old videos that I never really considered entering into a contest...but decided what the hell?

I submitted my video via otakuvideo about a week ago. I haven't goten any kind of status report back yet. I just wanna know if I should be worried. ^_^;;

No need to be worried yet, we're in the middle of putting together Master's. (Or, more specifically, Patrick is....I'm not allowed to assemble it, 'cause I'm judging.)

Give it another week and a half before you start getting worried. That'll give more than enough time to upload it again if something went wrong.

Neo Eva... I have a feeling that the Masters contest is taking priority as the deadline has passed for that. Be patient.
