If I recall that your video was the Hamster Dance Song then it was pretty funny for everyone whos cheered for it on the reaction on the first seeing of it. I liked it myself.

Grats to those who won. It was good to see everyone submitting those videos. I keep getting word from the con goers still saying next time have the contest longer so we can see all of the videos on the contest next time :) It went really well and those awards are incredible.

Since the AMV contest is a MAJOR event, it has to have a reasonable time limit os that people can go to other events as well... As the submissions grow, it will become impossible to show everything at the contest anyway. BUT, I will always show all the entires as I did on Sunday morning....

And yes, the con went without no hitches and the crowed loved the videos!

All of them except the Come With Me video.

IT was like,

'Hey, I'm a video, watch out for 180 WITH THE WRONGNESS AT THE VERY END'

That was enough to make me want to hurl my tasty beverage at squaregamer's head. Although I'm not wasting a $1.75 bottle of coke on anyone but myself.

To quote his site

'If you're at this site because I did a cheap plug on a big projector at Anime Evolution in Vancouver this weekend during the anime music video competition, then good for you. I've taken the liberty of posting my video on the interweb for all to see. If you're one of those people who GROANED at my video because of the final image, stop being so mature. if you we're there and you groaned, i hate you, and i'll be back.'

What did he expect with such a horribly executed sight-gag?

'OMG THAT WAS GENIUS, EVERYONE IS GOING TO LIKE THE VIDEO NOW'

I'm not too mature, at least I don't think I am, but the ending just caught me off guard as being gaudy and immature for an AMV.

My 8 cents, the 2 pennies are in the BANK. OMGWTF?

I thought that video myself was kinda cool in most parts. I laughed at the last scene though. Overall I did not care, I enjoyed the video and all the others that were played.

Er... is there a way to find out what videos were shown at the contest? I still have no clue which of my videos made it in... and I'm kinda curious as to how the audience reacted to the vids shown >_<
