We are now accepting registrations to the Matsuricon 2026 AMV Contest. Deadline for registration is August 5th, 2026 at 11:59 PM EST.

All entries will have 7 official categories to choose from:

• Action

• Comedy

• Drama

• Romance

• Upbeat/Dance

• Trailer

• Shorts

If you're not sure what category your entry should be in, fell free to select "Help" in your registration and we can decide for you.

All source footage types allowed.
Attendance is not required to win.

Awards include:

• Best of category (7)

• Best of Show

• Audience Choice

Finally, if your located in the Midwest of the U.S.A., we're bringing back the Midwest AMV Fest again this year. This is an exhibition showing of AMVs from the Midwest region of the US.
