Outside of Best in Show, rather than giving normal category awards, Youmacon is one of those conventions where they come up with unique titles for the videos that they wish to award, with the titles tending to reference an aspect of the video. Some examples of these with this year's awards:

The video utilizes audio from the anime alongside the song.

Time Traveler --- 35 --- TnAdct1 --- Happatai Daioh

The video is a 20th Anniversary celebration video of Azumanga Daioh, with it being set to a song that was popular in Japan (and anime convention attendees) around the same time.

Spirit of Blockbuster --- 45 --- Prostrate Constantly --- Encoder

The anime used, Video Girl Ai, involves the title character appearing from a rented video that the male lead rented.

Kidz Bop --- 85 --- drewaconclusion --- Drowning in the Kiddie Pool

Kidz Bop is known for making "kiddie" versions of popular songs, with the video using a cover of "Bodies" that turns it into a children's song.

The video mixes both anime footage and manga images from Demon Slayer

The "Weirdest Boner" Award is an annual award to the one video that brings the Youmacon judging to a halt. This year, the winner of the award brought it to a halt because the video source listed when the video was entered (one of the Legend of Heroes games) didn't match the actual video source (Violet Evergarden movie).
