Animethon 27 AMV Contest - Cancelled

Post by Vlad G Pohnert » Sat Mar 07, 2020 12:07 am

ANIMETHON 27 AMV CONTEST

It’s with great sadness that I inform you all that Animethon has been postponed till next year due to the COVID-19 situation.

So, what does this mean for the entries you have submitted to the AMV Contest?Since the deadline is still several months away and we have received a small amount of entries so far, so we are cancelling the contest for 2020.

HOWEVER,  for next year we would relax the freshness rule and increase the amount of entries a creator or group can submit so that those who submitted into this year’s contest could resubmit their entries into the 2021 contest if they so desire. We have plenty of time to work out the exact details and will incorporate them into the next year's contest overview and rules.

Thanks to everyone for supporting Animethon's AMV Contest and can’t wait to see all your amazing videos you send to us next year!
