MomoCon 2017 AMV Contest - {Winners + Contest Stream Upload}

Good lord that was one hell of a last minute rush. It took me 0ver 24 hours to go through and confirm all the videos that were submitted to the contest just in the last 12 hours before the deadline (which accounted for about 30% of the total number of entries). But as of now, all the submissions have been tested, and all the confirmation emails have been sent out.

We received a total of 177 accepted entries for the AMV Contest, and a additional 36 entries for the V-Mix Competition. And so all together, we received a record high of 213 accepted entries. So in other words, It's gonna be a long weekend for me and the other judges

. I expect to post the list of finalists by Monday.

For anyone interested in submission stats, here are the individual category totals.

Romance/ Sentimental - 43
Drama / Serious - 42
Fun / Upbeat - 28
Action - 27
Comedy - 20
Trailer / Parody - 17

V-Mix - 36

Total - 213

Day 1 of MomoCon AMV contest judging is over. After 2 whole years, we're still arguing with each other over this vid. Half of us are still unhappy that the other half chose to exclude if from finals in 2015. I love my heavy opinionated judges lol

Without going Into details, half the judges felt it was an amazing video, but the other half felt the exact opposite. For every person that loved it, there was someone that hated it just as much. It was one of our most debated vids that year
