Youmacon 2016 Fan Art Theater Competition Winners Announced!

If your video did not make it into the finalists do not fret, the video may have won an award still as awards and the final scores for showing entries are not one in the same. You can also request your entry to be shown during any AMV Request block during the con and we will take requests over our stream chat room as well!

All preparations are continuing beautifully for this years con. New playback systems have been built, testing on them and their streaming capability have been completed. We will once again plan to stream the convention and award ceremony and details regarding these streams will be posted here later as well as via our social media outlets on FB and Twitter.

We're prepping right now to make up the award VHS tapes, which will include the winning entries on them! My basement is full of equipment right now in order to make this happen as you can see below.

Got the tapes back from our painter. All that's left is to put the labels on them, add in the covers to the cases, and record the winning videos onto each. This is the last view of the awards however until the award ceremony as that would give away who won and wouldn't want to ruin the suspense.

The stream will be going on all weekend and the schedule of events has been posted to The Fan Art Theater website (linked in my sig) since September. Beyond that information on the stream links and what not will be posted closer to the con (like from con) once they are up and we are ready.
