London Anime Con AMV Contest

So I noticed this con doesn't have AMV contests, so I decided to try my best to organise one! We only get an hour slot, so we will have 3 categories, with about 3 finalists per category. Our panel of judges will use a point system to determine the finalists. Depending on the audience numbers, we will also have a Viewers Choice award (tentative idea).

No youtube links will be accepted, only entries uploaded on mediafire, sendspace, or any other file sharing service will be accepted.

2. Entries must be received no later than 11.59 GMT January 17th 2015. Late submissions will only be accepted if we’ve been told ahead of time. Unfortunately we will only accept electronically sent entries. No exceptions to this rule.
3. Entries must have a completion date of after January 17th 2014. Enquires about this must be asked on the forum thread ( http://www.animeleague.net/forum/showth ... ost3653339 ) or via email (lac.amvpanel@gmail.com).
4. By submitting you confirm that your submission is entirely your own creation, without material that may infringe intellectual property rights or breach any other rights or third parties. If it does, presentation of authorisation or licenses must be presented.
5. Each editor may only submit one entry.
6. Multi-Editor projects are accepted.
7. Submissions must be no longer than 4 minutes, including Multi Editor Projects.
8. Video submissions must not contain offensive, graphic, excessively violent material or explicit lyrics. Despite LAC being an 18+ convention, we’d like to keep the material PG-13. We will decide the suitability of all entries.
9. 80% of your entry must contain anime footage from a recognised anime source. Game footage videos (GMVs) are not accepted.
10. Entries must have a music accompaniment.
11. Videos submitted with TV logos or subtitles on the footage will be disqualified. Subtitles will only be accepted if they are an integral part of the video itself.
12. By submitting your entry you are accepting that we may use your video for promotional purposes.
13. No videos that have previously won awards in contests may be submitted.
14. All video submissions must be at least 640x360, ideally 1280x720.
15. I ONLY accept mp4 or avi files. Other containers will potentially lag and cause us unnecessary headaches. The AMV-Simple tool is an easy way of encoding large lossless files into a smaller mp4 format: http://amvnews.ru/index.php?go=Page&id=35&lang=en.
16. There are three categories, Action, Drama/Story, and Fun/Comedy.
17. We will add a title screen before each entry. This will contain your editor penname, the music track, the anime footage used, and the title of your AMV and category. For this reason we request that you do not add any bumpers, logos, watermarks or intros to your entry.
18. All decisions made by judges are final.
