Like last year I welcome you to join the IRON EFFECTS – Iron Chef. Here is a short introduction for the people who don’t know what this contest is about.
Many contests or ICs focus on themes like romance, fun and dance. This one though, is not about how well you can tell a story or how funny that guy in the anime gets beaten by a lady, no, the IE is about how well you can handle the given effects.
The categories:
Colorize the World:
Colors can leave strong impressions, even by absence.
Creating a mighty play of colors and not giving the viewer an epileptic seisure is the fine line between vomiting and rejoicing.
Sync your Lips:
A well-known discipline, where a single frame can wreck your whole video. An alternative way of thinking can make a huge difference in this category.
BLUR IT:
If you do not like what the picture shows: BLUR IT! You want to spotlight something cool then you are doing with the rest of the picture what? BLUR IT!
Rules:
1. 72 hours of editing time
2. You will decide the song pool
3. The songs will be distributed 1 hour before the start
4. No logos, names, watermarks or similar things that indicate the name of the editor are allowed in the video
5. You will be told in which category you are, at the start of the editing time
Songpool:
Every contestant must send me 3 songs (1 for each category) until the songchoise-deadline via PM.
Please pay attention that you send me a direct download link (Sendspace, Mediafire, FTP, etc.) and that your song has a good quality. You are NOT allowed to use your own songs! Every other song can be mixed, pitched or edited in any way you like.
The song length should be at least 1:30 min.

Of course we have to choose a winner out of all those wonderful works and who could be better a better jury than those who are responsible for them? Every one of you gets a pre-compilation and an evaluation sheet to judge the videos. Of course you’re not allowed to judge your own video ¦>
