Saboten Con AMV Contest (Deadline 9/11/11)

Hello everybody its that time of year for once again for Saboten Con [ http://sabotencon.conmagick.com ] AMV Contest

GENERAL CONTEST RULES

1. Entry deadline is September 11, 2011 and mail-in entries must be properly postmarked.

2. General video submissions must fit into one of the following categories: Action, Drama, Comedy, or Trailer. There will be first and second place winners for each category. An Audience's Choice Award will also be given.

3. You may enter up to two videos but each video must be in a different category.

4. This is a PG-13 rated event. As such, all entries will be expected to follow the official MPAA rating guidelines which define PG-13. To view the guidelines, please visit http://www.mpaa.org/FlmRat_Ratings.asp.

5. Videos cannot be shorter then 1 minute and no longer than 7 minutes.

6. Use of fabsubbed or commercial released subtitles are not allowed. However, adding your own subtitles is acceptable. The use of video game footage with original subtitles are also allowed.

7. Use of live-action movie footage is acceptable. (Example - if video is 3 minutes long you will be allowed 1:30 minutes of anime and 1:30 minutes of live-action)

8. No editor credits will be allowed in videos.

9. No watermarks or logos. These emblems are usually located in the corner of videos and are distracting. Clips marked with logos such as Sci Fi, or Cartoon Network will be disqualified.

10. Videos with MPEG, AVI, MP4, or MOV formats accepted.


ADULT VIDEO CONTEST

1. Entry deadline is September 11, 2011 and mail-in entries must be properly postmarked.

2. Prizes will be given to 1st and 2nd place winners.

o Your disc must be labeled with your real name and amv title. Please use a permanent marker to write on the disc, rather than a sticky label. Make sure we can read your writing. Make very sure.

o Entries will not be returned nor can they be picked up at the convention. Do not send your master copy. You won't get it back.
