Due to unforeseen circumstances, I will not be attending AX this year and I am also announcing I have resigned from judging next year and future years.

Unfortunately, as much as I want to, I'm incredibly busy with other professional opportunities in the gaming industry which has reduced my time to be involved in the amv community.

Of course, this isn't the reason why I won't be attending AX this year. That's another personal matter. I still plan on going to AX in the future for different purposes.

And no, this has nothing to do with the DBZ Battle of Gods screening.

Been lurking this thread since the submission roster linked to it and finally decided to create an account and post.

Congrats to the finalists! I didn't get in, but I didn't expect to, and I still got everything out of this contest that I wanted. I know as XStylus said it was brutal this year, but thanks for doing it! Having the chance to enter gave me the motivation to start learning the craft. I learned quite a lot just by participating, and I'm actually still slowly working on an AMV that I couldn't finish in time for the deadline.

In which case I'll direct you to talk to the ticketing folk who so kindly gave me a shuffled stack of tickets. :S

This makes it sound like the tickets should be handed out sequentially and if I pick mine up at the same time as another friend who also entered, the seats will be next to each other?
