I would love for my vid to make it to the next round, but I won't be too surprised if it doesn't, so I'm already braced.

I can only speak for myself here but I don't really feel comfortable talking about what happened at the pre-screening. Not that there was anything going on that needs to be hushed up. But it does feel unprofessional in a "gossiping in the workplace" kind of way.
The day is a bit of blur now anyway. With 8 hours of AMVs I couldn't remember the reaction to most videos (if any) if I wanted to.
We'll find out how well we all did in a week or so.

Oh I hope I didn't open up an unwelcomed can of worms or anything like that. Definitely wasn't the idea. Just reflecting on the experience, as it was certainly new to me. But like you, it was 8 hours of video, so it is hard to pinpoint much in terms of my feelings and how things will end up.Cyanna wrote:I can only speak for myself here but I don't really feel comfortable talking about what happened at the pre-screening. See what you've done? Now I'm curious. I visited a RehDogg.com but there was nothing there which resembled anything that could be entered into a AMV contest.NightMistress85 wrote:I'm sure you will at some point.dragonsong12 wrote:is now I gotta see it!NightMistress85 wrote:.....let's just say it was epic in its own right...Snow Puma wrote: So Rehdogg's submission was as ghastly as his website then?
Any chance that it's already out there? I mean if you think it has no chance of getting in, maybe you could point us to it..? Maybe there should be a WTF category next year..?

I think I may have found it on UTUBE. At least that was what I found when I googled Reh Dogg and Otakon. It was really scary, but it also wasn't an AMV.deuceloosely wrote:See what you've done? I know EXACTLY what you mean and always felt kinda bad and uncomfortable about that since I knew that was going on and frankly, things are not PERFECT. At the same time, when are they ever so we make due with what we have.Cyanna wrote:I can only speak for myself here but I don't really feel comfortable talking about what happened at the pre-screening. I don't know if I should say anything more though since I don't want to incite a flame war.

Not to start a flame war or to judge anyone, but WHAT THE FREAK WAS THAT!?wurpess wrote:I think I may have found it on UTUBE. At least that was what I found when I googled Reh Dogg and Otakon. Lightweights, getting woozy and lightheaded after a measly 8 hour judging session. Try AWA's Expo sometime, which surprisingly only weighed in at 15 hours and 17 minutes back to back runtime. 2006 was a slightly more respectable 18 hours.
...man, I really shouldn't run statistics like this, it just depresses me.
