Talked to Krat and he only told me that he doesn't know what his schedule is going to be like. So, who knows when this thing will end up finishing :\

Yeah, compilations ftw. I went away for a week and missed half of R3. >.<

This is exciting though. I like the multiple source selection. I'm with the others though that 5 songs is a bit much. Sort of takes the IC element out of it, just makes it a basic tourney match.

I'm hoping for a final Lock vs. Deshi. Every damn match this round is gonna be amazing, I look forward to the matches.

They still have to edit on the spot/under a time limit. It still has that IC element. I like the idea since it makes it easier for the individual, but harder competitively.

Exactly. I don't see how it's any less an Iron Chef match. You still have a time limit and you're still all in all limited in your selection of what you can do.

Well, IC should be when you've got one ingredient to work with (like it's namesake) that you have to integrate. Now they can choose one both ends. Don't get me wrong, I still like the rules. It makes it more competitive, but it makes it harder to compare the videos. Apples and oranges, you know?

Uhhh, actual Iron Chef has a number ingredients and one or two "secret" ingredients. There aren't quite as many dishes you can make with only one ingredient.

It's obvious Epical Zamora meant "secret ingredient." Which is to say if everyone isn't forced to have some common element between them (like song for instance) in their matches it isn't really analogous to Iron Chef any more.

Precisely. Still a good contest, just not as much of an Iron Chef.
