Ditto this, please to give a definite answer on this point.Kitsuner wrote:I'm going to assume that the lack of response means it's so obviously true that you don't even need to say it. If this is incorrect, please let me know.Kitsuner wrote:Does this mean the final upload deadline for the video is May 6th as well?DigitalPanther wrote:14b. All entrants submitting via FTP upload must also submit the Anime Expo® 2010 Anime Music Video Contest Entry Form via mail. Mailed Entry forms must be POSTMARKED by Saturday May 1st, 2010 and ARRIVE no later than Thursday May 6th, 2010.

i hate to speak on DP's behalf, but i would safely assume that the last day for ftp uploads would be May 6th since it isn't specified anywhere else in the rules. however just like any contest, it'd be safer to upload earlier, in the event of any data loss/mishaps corrections can be made in time.
if you're still not reassured than you should try contacting DP thru a pm or email. he is very swamped with other responsibilities he has for Expo and may not have the chance to check the forums as often as he'd like.

Hey, can I get a clarification on this? I'm confused:
So does that mean that "prizes" covers only things like DVDs and gift cards and other non-trophy items? The Rules wrote:Anime Expo® will not ship prizes, though proxies may claim the prize for the author with a signed proxy form[...] Anime Expo® sponsored Anime Music Video Contest Award Trophies will be shipped to winners.

Can we get a "official" word on submitting in regards to international contenders? As it is clearly impossible for them to mail anything even at this time? I for one am cutting it extremely close with finishing up this video. And if online submission of both the video and entry form are impossible. Then it would be a waste for me to just rush this as I honestly don't feel like cutting corners.
So again if DigitalPanther could get back to us that would be splendid.

No activity since early March. I'd probably have better luck here.Rider4Z wrote:another option is trying the AX ForumsRider4Z wrote:....you should try contacting DP thru a pm or email. he is very swamped with other responsibilities he has for Expo and may not have the chance to check the forums as often as he'd like.
Also PMing wouldn't do Cenit and the other international people any good. We just all need a solid answer on the matter.
