My response to each of these videos:

DCD - I liked the tone in this one a whole heck of a lot. The song and the source matched up wonderfully and I got a pretty good vibe from it. You obviously had a ton of technical issues in here too. Generally I like to ignore these but let me point a few things out here. The frame blending in this video was absolutely horrible, to the point where it made me scratch my head. Arashinome told me you're the type of person who knows your technical things, but I don't really understand how you couldn't have just turned off resampling in Vegas (or frame blending if you're a Premierefag). The fades were a little bit boring and you made no effort to use at least "unique" scenes. This was just a rehash of the same exact Bebop scenes we always see, which in an Iron Chef won't benefit you a lot. It's nice to see some risks taken but it felt like you stuck with tried and true with this one. The resolution also felt really tiny, but that could be because I've already seen a bluray copy of Bebop used so many times.
In Short: Nothing New + Technical issues =/= Good. The only redeeming quality to this video was the great tone, but that wasn't even a decision on your part. The song and the source were both already chosen for you. Better luck in any other Iron Chef's you take part in :)

NGSilver - I would say that the main reason your video won in this round was because it hit home in areas where DCD's failed. The visual quality was superb and the opening lip sync was pretty much enough to tell me how much more I was going to like yours. There was a lot of attention to detail there that didn't go unnoticed. I'm sure you sunk quite a good portion of your time into that opening and I just wanted to tell you the effort paid off . On that note though the rest of your video felt a little bit weaker than your opening, and the editing felt a little bit more minimal. I'm willing to bet this was you kind of rushing to make up for lost time spent on your beginning. A bit more solid through and through might do better for you...although this feeling may be coming from just how strong and entertaining your opening was.
In Short: As you move into the next round keep up your excellent dedication to video quality and editing; they're what won you this round. Risks like the attention to detail on the lip sync will not go unnoticed.

I have no comments on the Mkid Vs. MCHY round since I didn't judge it. I was talking to Mkid during his round and I didn't want to let that influence my decisions at all.
