No, the winners have not been announced.
They were not announced at the con.
Emails are supposedly forthcoming, I suppose, and awards in the mail after that... maybe.

This is ridiculous. I think they are ignoring us. It's total irresponsiblity on their end to not keep us informed. I've even emailed them, and I have yet to get a response as well.

Well, to be honest, someone from Janicon needs to step up and just say why the contest SHOULD have been canceled: lack of entries, poor convention attendance, the economy, aliens...
...but in all seriousness, this thing had less than 10 videos, with only a couple, maybe a few, that were worth watching. To give out awards for showing up? That's not a contest.
