:? I'm a little bit confused. I thought a jury judges on the vids? Did I miss something in the rules or in this thread?

Most of the judges will be gone next week for some reason no one told me until a few days ago.

I would be the only person judging so I would be the one picking the videos that moved on to the next round.

I didn't find that fair so I'm letting you guys vote.

Round one is just to pick the Top 16 (4 from each category).

Doesn't that run the risk of being rather biased? Especially since not everyone knows of this change ( i just happened to look at this thread again on a whim) and it severly contridicts the guidelines contestants agreed to when entering.

Also, couldn't the other judges look at the videos and vote now and announce the results later? or possibly delay the vote a few days?

try to delay the voting, we all can wait, and who knows, maybe more people will join the contest. besides, nobody wants the contest to be biased.

The voting is going to be delayed but the deadline is still August 5th.

I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

Thank you for entering.

No more entries will be accepted.

Thank you to all that entered the contest.

Since we ran into a problem, I decided to start the Crowd Fav Prelims on Monday but don't worry it'll be running for a while. We need all the votes we can get.

Thanks again
