AUSA is a small con (3,500 people or so) and it has always been traditionally "low" on entries (I consider less than 2x the running time of the contest to be "low"). The only exceptions were a few years back, when a lot of the big creators of the time got fed up with Otakon and somehow found AUSA to be a good dumping ground for their work. One year we even had more entries than Otakon. Then things got better and all us old farts except for Vlad became staffers and stopped making AMVs ;P Nowadays AUSA's contest is smaller, but has become (ironically) a big showcase for international editors. I've never instituted a no-troll rule for AUSA because we're a small con at the end of the year (and more importantly, after AWA) so a lot of editors' big projects are in the works for next year. The only things left are videos that people might have seen before.

Despite it's size, AUSA is by far my favorite con. They give me a room, and I do what I want with it. If anyone's ever staffed a con, you know this is a BIG deal, lol. They don't question anything that we do, so we keep coming back!

I know the fealing... That why I keep coming back and doing Sakura-Con's, Anime Evolution & Tekkoshocon's AMV Rooms as they pretty much don't question anything....

You'll have to come to Sakura-Con and then I'll cone to AnimeUSA :P

My two vids were uploaded before the deadline, but I haven't received any sort of confirmation. I tried to follow the contest specifications as closely as I could. Here's hoping I didn't really create any extra work for ya :P

EDIT: Whoops! Spoke too soon! Confirmation received!
