I don't work that side of the house so I am not an authority on such things, but, as I understand it we just had the first pricing deadline pass where it was, I think, $50 for the 4 day. I am not sure what the current pricing is.

yeah i noticed the deadline just passed. i was more/less referring to the drama i've been hearing about, but that's a whole nother kettle of fish i'd rather stay out of.

mostly means i'll be registering sooner than later

Yeah I just finished reading a rather long Cosplay.com thread (where your SO got my name wrong btw. LOL) that was all about the drama, of course there was enough truth in parts to make the false bits believable. There was also alot of supposition. I don't do politics. My focus it to work with the people I have to make this the best show we can.

Part of me wants to go in and put my .02 but long ago I learned the folly of such things.
1. 90% of the people are going to only read what they want to hear. Regardless of the accuracy of your information.
2. They will ALWAYS shoot the messenger. This one I know from personal experience.
3. As senior staff I do have to maintain a sense of propriety and protocol as within any company for profit or NFP.
4. NEVER feed the Trolls and that thread has a couple of them.
and lastly,
5. there are already some of those who left that are convinced I am a traitor because I didn't walk when they did. What they fail to understand is I stayed because I am loyal to the con and I can't help fix things from the outside.

ok I will stop there I don't want this to become a drama post.

I guess its kinda ironic considering the contest was held on Thursday the last time it was in Nokia.

i smacked him for it.
Spoiler :
i was a little worried when i heard about the staff changes tho.... glad yer still here ^_^
i'm sure brad will be happy to hear we're back in Nokia :P i liked the section you had picked out for us last year. it wasn't the very front but that honestly wasn't needed with the stadium seating  i just hope the majority of the creators will actually stick with us this time. last year they kinda scattered.

i did however have a great view of the back of kisanzi's head for 4 hours

This may be the FIRST year I do not enter in ten plus years. The BAR exam has had all my time since December and I haven't even had time to do anything other than rip for one video.

Gonna be a real close call this year for me.
