I wasn't saying show the AMVs during the masquerade, but they could read off the results during the intermission of the Masquerade, or at Closing Ceremonies. The events are on different days. 24 hrs should be plenty of time to count all the ballots. I recommend BALLOTS!

Again, I've seen contests where the decible reader was used and which to win, one video had their friends and family positioned closer to the reader, so that their voices affected the reader more because they were closer. You get twenty friends to sit near the reader and yell for your video, you can affect the thing, more then if they were sitting at the back of the room. So your 'noise' level is not only judged by how close you are to the reader. Which again SUCKS. I rather have ballots, so even if you have 20 friends at the front of the theater, the general population can still balance out the thing.

As for 'audience reaction' and hearing people yell or whatever for your video. I rather have their general reaction/response then a false hyped one.
