We discussed the horror category, but we had to limit the prize categories. Some of the other people involved think we still have too many. So what we have is what we have. Most likely any horror AMV’s will be considered action. We won’t be screening them by category anyway, this way we won’t have hordes of people crowding the viewing room for one category than leaving.Eva-Fan wrote:What's up with con's not having a horror category... It's not a very popular style for amv's but usually they are really creative and unique ;_;...
Well, I read just about every other AMV contest entry form before I made this one. Every one had a stipulation worded almost exactly like this one.Eva-Fan wrote:I'll think about entering... that last paragraph on the rules section is kinda bogus.
Sorry if rule 9 is a bit foggy. But no worries people, we’ve got it all covered.jubjub2 wrote:By their very nature, AMVs DO infringe on alllllll sorts of rights. I would love to see an AMV where the editor has copyright permission both from the musical artist and the anime company.
Yup, the form has a submit button on the bottom. Just fill it out in Acrobat, click the submit button and follow the directions.moonie211 wrote:One question,
If i send the video online can i also send the form online or do i have to mail it?
All I can say is, it’s about time. Last year, our 1st, was interesting. We where only expecting about 200 attendees and over 600 showed up! So this year were going all out, got some cool guests, artists, contests and its 2 days instead of 1. If all goes well this year, well be looking into a 3 day con next year.jubjub2 wrote:I'll be entering later today, prizes or no. Glad to see that SLC is getting into the groove and hosting a con!
Fun..Fun..
The contest’s forums will list all entries as they are received & approved. So if you submitted please check and verify.
