Well, just finished the MPEG-2 :) Will mail it out tomorrow - do you know if Aug. 15 is the 'in person' submission deadline, or the deadline for all entries?
Anyway, I better ask at the post office if I should send it by regular mail or priority (I mean, how long can mailing take from Ottawa to Toronto?)

Oh, the vid I'll be entering is the 'Holy Diver' one I just finished last night. Basically, if you see an 80's Metal video with lots of airplanes and stuff - that's me  It's not my best work, but unlike my other vids, it won't make the audience either fall asleep or vomit.

Cheers, and good luck again!

I just sent out my amv yesterday. It should make it up there before the deadline. It'll probably get up there exactly on the 15th. I just saw the contest and I thought you guys would enjoy the amv I sent you. Well to everyone best of luck.

Who are you talking to? AFAIK nobody running the contest has posted in this thread.

It'd be nice if they did though.

Meh, just wait and see. Attendees can hopefully tell us what was played (Anamorphic and Moonlight Soldier - we're all counting on you  )

Will certainly keep an eye on the crowd and the videos. I plan on doing an AMV "report" because the first impression you get from a video on a big screen is different from anything on your computer.

I handed my video in person late, but TMPEG was crashing my computer and I was told it'd be ok, as long as it was hand delivered. *crosses fingers*
I ened up having to re-edit the music and recreate the WAV to the AMV to get the darned thing to encode. Gryargh.

On the plus side, I have a new ARjuna video to upload to the org that I'm really proud of, so it all equals out.

Mailed in last week :). It was either pay $10 to take GO train to Toronto and then walk those tiring blocks or go the lazy way CANADA POST!
