Since I'm on a time crunch (still have someone at my house with a short attention span to entertain), my video, ...are some answers (released under the AT Editors heading) is now online. Grab it here.[/url]

I asume your contest list doesn't include the videos on the 6 screening tapes mentioned here. http://www.animemusicvideos.org/phpBB/v ... hp?t=18880

There was a consolation tape on saturday night showing a nice roster of videos that almost made it into the contest. Unfortunately I cannot remember all of the videos on there. I do remember Fungie's video was on it, there was a great Wolfwood-Hallalujah drama video and mine was in the comedy section
I'm sure there is a listing somewhere I can find if some people are interested to know what vids are on it.
as for the contest...let's just say.....Baltimore cab companies suck more than anything else on the planet
At least there is the org....
I watched a screening showing and I liked a lot of what I did get to see.
I also learned that amv showing audience don't get a whole lot of jokes...even if it's making fun of them, will cheer like fools when they see Vash.... under any circumstances, and no matter how bad a video is, if other people cheer or sing along, the rest of the herd will mindlessly join in.

Well, came back from Otakon. Didn't get to make the Corbo Bash so I wasn't able to meet the AMV creators as I'd have liked nor did I see how my video might've been recieved. Got some business contacts made and went to this pretty cool party at Jan Scott Frazier's place. I wonder if my AMV made the consolation tape? Ah well...

This is true. Generally, I only list the videos that actually make it into the formal contest or exhibition. Don't have the time to make a list of videos that are simply entered (i.e. non-finalists). There are far too many and most conventions don't even make that information public. Otakon is one of the rare exceptions.ZeWrestler wrote:I asume your contest list doesn't include the videos on the 6 screening tapes mentioned here. http://www.animemusicvideos.org/phpBB/v ... hp?t=18880

However, Otakon is also one of the few cons that puts the lists of AMVs on their website. When you go there, click the "History" button. The 2003 results won't be there for awhile (assuming they do it this year).
