Haha, I've been there before too. Good luck!

Well, you don't have to submit those particular videos but I think your work would have a good shot so please do consider it :)

Thank you ^^ So many contest trun done games even if they are anime style.
I didn't read any specification about the minimum length of a video, I just finished a trailer that is about 30 seconds long, no objections to that?

Yeah, we have no hard limit on minimum time.

Too bad on the max limit as I have a retro video, but it is too long

Obviously I cannot give advice sight-unseen but a lot of times longer videos can be squeezed into 4 mins 40 secs, in my opinion. Unfortunately, we were only given 2 hours this year (including seating!) so the chances of us running anything longer than that is pretty slim but if it's around there and you want to email me I'll take a look at it and tell you if I think the judges might overlook its length.

It is 8+ minutes so it would be rather hard to squeeze into 4:40 lol...

I remastered / re-edited a really old AMV from the 90s I made called Information High

If I get my latest video done in time I will submit it. It'll be under parody. Here's hoping.
