I had gotten a PM from DP a few weeks ago saying he had gotten my e-mails and was en train de downloading the files, but I didn't get a confirmation that they were found to work properly.

I had gotten a PM from DP a few weeks ago saying he had gotten my e-mails and was en train de downloading the files, but I didn't get a confirmation that they were found to work properly.

Confirmations will be going out after all the entries are captured to the drive. Then I have to enter all the data from the entry sheets. after which I can send out the email confirmations. It is my intention to have this done by end of may. Due to the sheer volume of GoHs this year judging screening will be a little later than usual but I still hope to have the finalists up by 2nd week june at the absolute latest.

Any updates yet? I know I'm being impatient but multiple people including myself are on the fence about going or not. And considering the sheer distance some of us have to travel it would be nice to know in advance if I'll have to take time off of work.

Provided both me and someone else make it into the contest that is a very big possibility yes. Thus why we'd like to know ahead of time obviously.

I don't remember if DP posted it or not but i do remember him telling me he wants to have the finalists posted no later than the 2nd week of June. i DO know judging is in progress at least....

if you think that might be too late maybe you should try requesting the time off now. are you allowed to take it back if you end up changing your mind?
