Anime Central 2008 AMV Contest

Total videos received: 137 with at least 82 coming in the final days.

Basic check on all entries completed. If you did not receive e-mail notification it means I did not receive any entries from you.

Submissions are CLOSED. Re-submissions for issues we contacted you about and re-uploads due to incomplete uploads are still available. Please get the re-uploads in ASAP.

The FTP went over its quota right around 1/21 23:59 because of everyone hammering it with last minute submissions. It is not my responsibility to make sure your upload completed. Anything that was 0 byte files I deleted the very next morning so we could get the FTP clear and back up. From what I could tell most people paid attention to see if their upload failed. So if you didn't pay attention to your FTP log..... check your e-mail and look for those notifications.

Keep in mind just because you did not receive an e-mail about a tech issue does not mean it is impossible for you to still get one. It is very unlikely though.

Big ups for all the Ballers out there who used the file naming convention. It really saves me a lot of time so I dont' have to stare at lots of "My badass AMV.mpg" entries and then rename them all by copy/paste from the PDFs.

I would like to thank those who managed to follow the file formatting rules to the letter. Well done and you have my thanks. For those who did not I will take this moment to say that you really should always keep a copy of your synched uncompressed PCM audio. For that matter video should also be kept in an archival format such as Huffyuv, lagarith, or DV. DVD-R are cheap.
