Ya know, on that note... please remind me about that idea once this con year ends. I can't get one going this year but I may be able to float that idea next year. So please remind me I think it would be a great thing to have. I just forgot about it in all the other shuffle and shite going on at con right now.Vlad G Pohnert wrote:

Excellent. Hopefully I can manage to get another video into this contest, especially since this will be the first time I take my sister to AX. Hopefully Pro will recieve more submissions this year as well.
Out of curiousity, who holds the record for the most videos accepted into a single AX AMV contest?

I think that would be Kevin Caldwell in 98. Back then there were only three categories he had videos in each of the categories. Won all three categories and best of show. I took second in Action that year.LC_Lapen wrote:Excellent. Hopefully I can manage to get another video into this contest, especially since this will be the first time I take my sister to AX. Re: Anime Expo 2010 Anime Music Video Contest Rules Up
FYI: due to an error on the part of AEG and their double booking one of our days, it has become necessary to shift the main event to Thursday Night Day 1. This is so we can have Masquerade in Nokia on Night 2. We apologize for any inconvenience in planning this may cause any of you (Looks towards Kazemon) however since so far no single day passes have been sold it shouldn't be to late.
We will still be doing the rescreen and awards on Saturday in Film.
Please accept my personal apologies for this shift. It was the only way we could plan it and still have the contest in Nokia.
So to recap, the AMV Contest will be on Night 1 Thursday July 1st in Nokia.

Re: Anime Expo 2010 Anime Music Video Contest Rules Up
I was only planning on going for 2 days (contest and awards), so I may have to get 2 one day passes for $70 rather than spending the $75 for all 4 days.DigitalPanther wrote:FYI: due to an error on the part of AEG and their double booking one of our days, it has become necessary to shift the main event to Thursday Night Day 1. The extra $5 won't be worth it because of the extra food and gas money I gotta spend..
