CNAnime 2005 AMV Contest

wow, deadlines getting close. About 2 weeks left. How many people have entered?

I actually put the videos I was doing on the back burner for a while. They just weren't working out how a wanted, but I'm really liking the way my new video is looking.

I'll be in the Misc category now, for a "dance/club style" video as CN likes to call it, lol.

Well, I entered. I'm not sure how many you can enter, so I just entered one. But it's all sent out so...hope that's some motivation or something...

I totally agree on the catagories thing. When Anime North removed the specific catagories from there AMV comp I didn't like the idea at all, but now I've grown to love it and think it's just too hard to classify some videos as a specific catagory.

Just so you know last year there were very, very few comedy entries at CN.

I entered, with a comedy video, second video I ever made, I just want to make people laugh but it'll benice if I win somthing. This is the second contest I ever entered, my first being this year's Anime North,

I entered a long time ago, and I got bored and made another video, and I'd like to enter it too, but I have no Idea if you can enter more than one... anybody know?

Anywho I'm giving the guys a call today at Noon so if i find out I'll leave a post.

What video did you enter at Anime North? I saw nearly all of them there. I was really excited for their comp this year.

I entered 2 AMvs last year... they ended up choosing me best one. Never got me prize from them

I entered in the Novice catagory The C team (Cowboy bebop/A-Team theme), which unfortunately was aired at like 10:00 in the morning to a small crowd of very tired fans...After about 2 hours of very novice videos... but people laughed so thats good.

As for the posting the guy said I had to phone back tomorrow, cuz the orginizer was in and he, as an employee didn't know. (-_-)

So I'll let you guys know tomorrow.

Hate to spoil you're fun, but last year there was no 'prize' lol. Even the winners didn't know they'd won unless they were there. In which case all they got was bragging rights. lol.

Oh, I shoot it was in the block I missed. I slept in saturday morning and only got to the amv's halfway through that like 4 hour block. lol.

I'll check it out when I get a chance, sounds like a funny idea.
