Yes, people are misreading what AD said.

But the point is that the DVD rips and the contest are both on the same site. Since the DVD rips are there, we can't support (or link to) it.

AD, I'm not trying to tell you how to run the org... But his linking to his org profile does not equate to the org supporting his site, in fact it's quite the other way around, his site is supporting the org.

So, my question is, are you saying that he cannot support the org if his site contains something that the org discourages? I think this rule needs to be clarified, because if you decide to ban anyone who's site violates any form of copyright infringement, then lords knows there's gonna be a LOT of banning to be done.

by showing ppl wats ont their dvds? I dont think they would really care. If someone doens't find a dvd-rip on my site that dones't mean they're gonna go buy the dvd, they will still get it elsewhere. i dont think taking down my dvd rips would get anyone to buy dvds they'd just use kazaa or other p2p crap

maybe you should ban my videos too, they contain my site url
and so i cant type becuz it has my site url? if you go to that url theres no way to get to my main site with the rips from there
