Well I dont really like this rules not much, but the forum is great, and the rules are just to strict for me, there not plain and simple as the ones at my board.RichLather wrote:We are guests of this forum, and as such we do not make the rules. The rules are quite plainly spelled out. If you don't follow them, your avatar and sig will get yanked. Plain and simple.
Unless you can't be bothered with silly things like "rules".

Da-yumn. Me be honored.
Took the liberty of checking this guy's site, and seeing what he'd done AMV-wise.
If I didn't know any better I'd say he was a well-thought out prank.
Of the two videos on the site, both are DBZ, both are in RealMedia.
The songs?
"In the End" and "Enter Sandman". Wow. Just...wow.

so he's just starting out, everybody has to start out somewhere right, and i don't see where you get off being all high and mighty. All he was trying to do is get people to join his contest, and all you do is give him a hard time.

Im still waiting for somebody to make an "In the end" video done right. No one seems to make one that actually pays attention to the lyrics. I was actually thinking that Hoshi No Koe would go well with In the end, I should try and make it. Anyways as to the high and mighty comment, I think that statement is un called for, he could have said something a whole lot worse. Besides everybody is entitled to their own opinions.WhereNext wrote:RichLather wrote:Da-yumn. Me be honored.

I don't have a problem with anyone starting out, but when someone seems to go out of their way to begin so goofy-foot wrong on all counts, I can't help but point it out.WhereNext wrote: so he's just starting out, everybody has to start out somewhere right, and i don't see where you get off being all high and mighty. - HAY GUYS I'm running a contest, but you gotta join my forums to be in it!
- Oversized avatar and sig, which when pointed out elicits "It's not a problem on my forums, why should they be a problem here?" (Because we've got rules, Sparky)
- Personal AMVs and site which epitomize the LinkinBall style.
As for the high and mighty bit, yeah, I can be arrogant sometimes. After over a decade in the AMV field, I think I've earned the experience to tell someoneelse they're going about things the wrong way. I'd love to see this guy do something other than a DBZ video.

TommyRude's "Ep. 27 : In the End" is about the best I've seen, with a great chromakey effect. It still isn't perfect, but it's better than 90% of the others I've seen that use it.MAS PRODUCTIONS wrote: Im still waiting for somebody to make an "In the end" video done right.
