Maybe the theme at AWA should be more focused on the type of music used and not the anime. For instance, make the theme "Boy Bands". I'm pretty sure both Hsien and Ian love boy bands.

Hsien's first IC had him using a secret engredient he had never heard of... Tokyo Babylon

so it can... and most likely will happen.... I prefer to do things differently with the Secret engredient

so far the secrets have been:

Chinease Ghost Story
Tokyo Babylon
Secret of Nihm

is there a pattern there? (I hope not)

I'm going to be in real trouble this year with a theme. The last two times, i picked songs that were generic enough that I could use most any common anime footage for them. Now I'm going to be totally hosed

I think the boy bands was far funnier. Though a Polka theme would be a riot too. And disallow Weird Al songs

Damn now you're scaring me. I haven't watched that much anime in a good two years. I haven't even seen the "musts" like FLCL. Last thing I saw was Cowboy Bebop...suck! I guess that's why we know most of the ingredients beforehand since I'm gonna need to watch them....
