Re: AnimeNEXT 2015 AMV Contest Thread
Das me! I just tried to upload my bigger file (500 mb vs the 130 mb of the first video) when it gave me an internal error, so I'm trying again right now.Scintilla wrote:
Edit: The minute after my previous post where I said that I hadn't received any uploads, one from shorisquared went through successfully.
Edit: I got a "A misconfiguration on the server caused a hiccup. Check the server logs, fix the problem, then try again." My larger file couldn't go through, but my smaller one did earlier just like Rider's.

Ok, 1 went thru. trying 2 now.
EDIT: this one didn't go thru - it was the first one I tried and it's a larger file size. the second one is smaller and went thru fine.

Re: AnimeNEXT 2015 AMV Contest Thread
I've recreated the problem with a larger file (> 700 MB); despite changing some settings I still can't get any more useful error message than "premature end of script headers". Have opened a ticket with my hosting service and will let you know how it goes.

I just tried uploading it again, but from a faster network (my school) and it only took about a minute. Maybe it just depends on how good your upload speed is?

It's been over 36 hours and Bluehost support still hasn't replied to my ticket (though it's showing up properly in my ticket history as Open); I may have to actually call them or something. For now, all I can do is ask anyone who wasn't able to upload their files before to request an FTP account, and I'll set you up one.
I will update again here as soon as I know more about the issue or have it fixed. I honestly did not encounter these issues when testing very large files before the form went live, and I very much appreciate everyone's patience with this matter.

Re: AnimeNEXT 2015 AMV Contest Thread
If it's not one thing, it's another. My hosting account has now been deactivated and I'm definitely going to need to call them up to explain the situation.
Obviously I cannot accept new entries until this is resolved, and neither do I have a platform for FTP. I will update here as soon as this is resolved.
