SMASH! 2012 AMV Competition - Winners Announced! (1st Page)

Well, this is only my opinion and its not really on paper yet, so it hasn't been finalised (I even think it may have some link to the action category too). The co-ordinator, myself and our other judges will decide on it (will come to a decision a day after the comp entries close on June 30) on what genre area it should belong to in the competition, but rest assured that its already accepted, and wont be taken out of and disqualified in any way.

Once again, I do apologise for a lack of Horror category in this competition, its definitely something myself, the co-ordinator and the judges can think about for the next competition as we are looking ways to improve it every year and I will take this situation into account.

btw im just a little curious to know who gets the prizes (category winners or judge award winners) and does Smash have something like an AMV theatre?

The ones who get prizes are the winners of the Action, Comedy/Parody, Drama/Romance and Upbeat/Dance, as well as those who also get People's Choice, Judge's Choice and Best Technical (So a total of 7 major prizes to be won). In addition, the four categories also have runner ups, so they get a minor prize.

As for an AMV theatre, there isn't such a place, but in previous years AMVs have been usually shown at our Art Stage in the past (our 2nd stage at the event). However, when the official event schedule comes out, I will tell you later where the AMVs will be screened.
