Did anyone else know that Dragon*Con (Atlanta) has an AMV contest ? It was news to me. I can't tell if this (meaning next year's Con) is their first showing.

Dragon*Con AMV Contest Page ...rules etc. are still TBA.

I hate DC with the most furious passion.

I never saw a point in spending $85 on tickets just to stand shoulder to shoulder with 800 bajilion people in a giant flee-market and a couple of video rooms full of shit I have no interest in seeign and/or already have many a time over. And the AMV's from what I have seen in the past just make my penis cry

they probably showed SRV again for the 575224829506209632763223460873876237623094876024872.3 time.. then euphoria.. then IWIWAL, then other random vids... if they could get some new vids and lower the price to.. i dunno... $40 or less then i might go... but $85 for a weekend? i can stay AT awa for that price.. and awa is like a bajillion times better... they dont show crap like "I saw you"... screw eet..

um, the Dragon Con showing was just a showing of various vids, not a contest at all. no biggie. just played stuff from past and present.

did you happen to see a 3 quarter ale *the band that played there, their a sort of renesance festival band* video with popa smurf in it? that was one of the worst videos i've ever seen!!
