Winners and Finalists of Connichi 2025
Connichi is the biggest and longest running AMV competition in Germany. Participants may compete in up to four contests and send up to six entries (3 AMV and 3 GMV). Connichi 2026 will once again aim to show all your submissions on site. The finalists will be shown on the 2000+ people fitting main stage and also everyone in the ~150 people fitting AMV Lounge. A jury will do prejudging and may disqualify entries not abiding to the rules or deemed unfit for general audiences. Editors and visitors will vote one site.
AMV Contest & GMV Contest
Exclusive contest
- One submission per participant for each contest (1 AMV & 1 GMV).
- The videos must not be released online on sites such as A-M-V.org, AMVNews or YouTube before September 6, 2026 (end of Connichi 2026)
- Intro, Outro and/or credit videos are not permitted.
- The video must not contain any hints or credits towards the editor. The judging will be done anonymously by the judges, editors and crowd.

AMV Expo & GMV Expo:
Open contest
- Two submissions per participant for each contest (2 AMV & 2 GMV).
- The videos must not have premiered before August 10, 2025 (deadline of Connichi 2025)
- The judging will be done by the editors. Please provide a YouTube or similar streaming link where possible.
